Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has urged his team to make Emirate stadium a fortress to give them a good platform to mount a meaningful challenge for the premier league.
The team has made three in three wins at home this season which is a better statistics to last season on the back of yesterdays win on West Bromwich. He wants his team to keep up winning ways at home.
Speaking to sky sports after the match, Ramsey was pleased with the win “it was a fantastic performance”, considering the way other results went over the weekend we had to take full advantage of playing at home.
“We know they are very well organised and get a lot of players behind the ball. Its just a case on being patient and alert to their counter attack, we always knew its going to be difficult against them”.
After the 4-0 thrashing at Anfield last month Ramsey feels the team has improved, better disciplined and better organised than the start of the season.
Ramsey said against Chelsea the team was mush better organised and could have won the game in the end, he said “That’s the kind of performance we need away against the top teams and it was chalk and cheese to the game against Liverpool”.
Against Liverpool the distances between our units were too large, the gaps between the midfield and defence was too wide too but against Chelsea the unit was a lot smaller and we were much better organised.
Two goals from New boy Lacazette secured the 3 points which brings Arsenal back to within six points of the league leaders Manchester City.
