Cannock Carrasco will be allowed to leave Atletico Madrid in January window.

Atletico Madrid are prepared to allow Yannick Carrasco leave the club in the January transfer window.

He has been a target for both Arsenal and Chelsea since the last summer transfer window. Arsenal identified Carrasco as a possible replacement for the want-away Alexis Sanchez.

Yannick Carrasco has been involved in a number of bust-ups at Atletico Madrid in the last 12 months with manager and team mates.

According to reports in Spain, Diego Simeone has instructed Atletico Madrid to sell Yannick Carrasco in the January transfer window because he has been constantly involved in a number of high-profile bust-ups over the course of the last year.

The 24-year-old winger has played an instrumental role in the Spanish side’s success in recent years According to AS, Carrasco was reported to have fallen out with several teammates like Koke and Gabi, as well as the club’s fitness coach Oscar Ortega.

Chelsea and Arsenal have renewed their interest in Carrasco but they are likely to face competition from Bayern Munich who are scouring the market for players to succeed ageing Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

It could be a stiff three way competition between the two premier league giants and Bayern Munich, which means Arsenal will sure loose out on that.

Arsenal FC will not be able to financially compete with the others even if they desperately needed the player.
